I was real good friends with Chris in the late 90"s and Early 2000"s I have a scrapbook of all of his matches from the beginning of his career. If you would like to see it sometime you can e-mail me. He was a great guy. very intelligent. An awesome wrestler.
I am so glad I found this website I believe it was 1995 when I was at Leaps & Bounds in Mesquite Texas with my kiddos. I slid down one of the slides with my daughter and came face to face with your dad. I watched WCCW so I knew he was the heart throb "Gentlemen Chris Adams". He smiled as he was holding his baby (I want to say this was Julia) and asked me not to say who he was. I didn't. I went into the bathroom with my daughter and was trying to figure out how to ask him for his autograph. When I came back out of the restroom there were about 20 people around him getting his autograph and talking. I never got my autograph...
What a wonderful tribute!
Chris & I were good friends back in the late 70s and I loved him to bits. He was a lovely guy - yes he went through some bad times, but I know deep down he was still the same lad I knew. He didn't deserve to have his life stolen and his kids didn't deserve to be robbed of their father. God bless you all.
RIP Chris.
I meet Chris in 1983 in Lake Dallas Tx. where i grew up. he and Kerry Von Eric would come into the Falcons Nest and play video games sometimes they would let me play as a team mate in Joust. That was the best time of my life, they were my heroes.. My heart broke when i herd Chris had past. your dad was a good and kind man. it makes me fill good to see his kids doing good.

I grew up trying to watch every Chris Adams match and interview I could. I liked how he was the good guy, was sad when he went bad, but still cheered for him. I was a kid but it's true he was a hero, he was the good guy. And the super kick rocked.
Brilliant site. God Bless and thanks from a fellow Brit. Rest in peace and thanks for creating such powerful ripples still felt through the wrestling world even now.
